The original Ford GT was developed by Ford in 1964 to win the great 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France. The company wanted to make a statement that it could compete with the best in the world. After the first attempts, the Ford GT won the Le Mans race four years in a row. Now, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its first victory, Ford has developed an all-new Ford GT that uses cutting-edge technologies.
